Amalfi Coast Excursion
This private shore excursions of Amalfi Coast include an entire day tour of the spectacular costal road. Panoramic stop just above Positano, short visit of the village with its original handcrafted clothing stores and beach wear fashion shops. Optional visit on the way to Amalfi, to the Grotta dello Smeraldo. Then on to Amalfi, the first Marine Republic of Italy. Visit of the old city-centre, with the outstanding Duomo, built in the 6th century and dedicated to St. Andrew. Free time for shopping and eating out. From Amalfi, we drive to Ravello, which nests eleven hundred feet above the sea level in the mountainside. Pompeii ruins excursion
The Pompeii tour included a half day tour to the ruined city. Drive along the Sorrento costal road to Pompei. Following the great eruption of Mount Vesuvius in the year 79 A.D. Pompei laid buried for hundred of years preserved by the volcanic ash thrown out of Vesuvius. Rediscovered in the 18th century, you can now see aspects of life from 2000 years ago. Walk through the ancient streets of Pompei where you will find Baths, Forums and Villas built by the prosperous Romans in the year 80 B. C. or wander through the ghettos of the poor, the butcher and baker’s shops, or even brothels. Free time for shopping and eating out, before going back to Sorrento.

Herculaneum tour
A half day tour from Sorrento along the costal road to Castellammare di Stabia and from there on the motorway to Ercolano. The City of Herculaneum was destroyed as well as Pompei by the great eruption of Mount Vesuvius in the year 79 A. D. however not by ashes and lava as Pompei but by a torrent of mud that came flooding down the slopes of the Volcano. Once solidified, the mud preserved intact many of the timber features and household objects, offering a unique vision of private life in Roman style. A large portion of old Herculaneum City is still buried under the modern town, and even today there are on going excavations to discover what treasures lie buried under the rock, to the point that some families are being rehoused so work can continue.

Vesuvius excursion
Climb the MT. Vesuvius, one the best known volcano on earth. A half day tour, from Sorrento along the costal road, to the motorway and then to continue the journey up 3000 feet above the sea level to the top of Mount Vesuvius. Vesuvius is the only active Volcano on the main land of Europe. Once there, we continue the last 100 feet on foot, up a zig-zag cinder path to the crater edge, during the walk you can admire the splendid panoramic view across the Bay. On the way back to Sorrento there is an optional stop at the Mineral Museum of Vico Equense.
